The 2013 Masquerade Ball raised a fantastic £10,560 for the important work of the Children's Respite Trust, while 200 guests enjoyed a most spectacular masked ball. This year's Ball promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Caring for a child with a disability is something that never ends. It can mean being there 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
Many families of children with a complex medical need or a profound learning or physical disability really just need a break - a chance to do something that the rest of us often take for granted.
The Children's Respite Trust is a charity that improves the lives of children with profound learning and physical disabilities by helping them to get a short break throughout Sussex, Kent and parts of Surrey and London. Just a little support can go a long way to helping a family to cope with the strain.
Right now what we could really do with is a little time, your time to be precise. We are in need of volunteers in various roles (including but not limited to fundraising) to help make the lives of special kids in the area that little bit easier.
If this sounds like something you could do, or would like to learn a little bit more about what this entails then please head over to our recruitment section and get in touch.
